Description:

The magnificent introduction to the city of God continues with more encouragement for believers to remain faithful to their calling. This evening we will enjoy the only speech in the Apocalypse so far that we are positively sure comes from God. It is a phenomenal revelation when God tells John, "I am making all things new". We will explore exactly what that means and what the implications are to our lives today. We will learn to trust deeply in these promises of God as we face the trials of everyday life-- choosing to see with the eyes of faith rather than by physical sight. The church is presented with both weal and woe in this passage, reminding us of the importance of living our lives with "eschaton eyes".
